The Countrybuilt Process

We want the process of design, delivery & installation of your new home to be a pleasure. So what are the steps involved? Here is a brief overview…

Select a Design

The first step in the process is to select a design from our extensive range of more than 120 Built, Kit, Modular or Cabin plans. Alternatively, one of our consultants can assist to develop your plans or ideas.

Develop your own style

To get the layout, look & feel of your design just right, you may require some modifications or options. If you need help with this process, our consultants are always on-hand for advice. Your consultant will help you understand the design guidelines and what can and what cannot be changed.

Presentation of Quotation

Once these steps have been completed, our consultant will provide you with a full written quotation. If you decide to go ahead, you will then be required to sign a purchase agreement.

Drafting & Council Submission

Your customised plans and all required documentation will then be produced ready for submission to council. For cabins & Modular homes, we suggest a pre-delivery meeting with council to ascertain any council requirements.

Colour Selection

You will now have the exciting task of colour selection. You can visit one of our colour selection centres where you will be hosted by a colour consultant. This will allow you to select all the colours, fixtures & fittings for you new home or cabin, ranging from paint & tiles to kitchen colours & finishes.

Once the colours & applications are approved, we can proceed with the construction or manufacture of your building. This will normally take between 4 to 14 weeks depending on the home style and size. We manufacture in our 3 Acre Facility, so time frames are not affected by external influences.

We then arrange a suitable delivery date with you.

For kit home packages this will entail delivery on one of our specially designed trailers, complete with forklift/crane, to locate all your kit components neatly on site and ready for you to begin construction.

For cabins or Modular homes, your building will be delivered on one or multiple specialised hydraulic low-load delivery trucks, allowing for safe and reliable delivery, normally without the need for a crane. If basic site works or footings are required, the use of a small excavator is also available.

All of our Modular home deliveries are accompanied by our tradesmen to finalise the installation process - including any minor touch-up work if required – and the joining of multiple chassis buildings and construction of verandahs.
